10 THINGS WE DON’T DO AS BIM CONSULTANTS! 👀

Here are 10 things we don’t do in a #BIM project and neither should you:
❌ Say “nice model” when it’s packed with Model In Place elements 🤥
❌ Run clash detection without agreeing the Matrix & priorities at each RIBA Stage with the Client first 🤝
❌ Leave clashes for “someone else” to figure out 🙈
❌ Accept a BIM Execution Plan (BEP) that doesn’t match the Client’s EIR & AIR, and hope no one notices 😅
❌ Agree to send BIM deliverables via email like it’s 2006 😬
❌ Skip coordinates & cross fingers that information models magically align 🤞✨
❌ Let model data run wild with missing parameters & weird names = no consistency 📉
❌ Carry out a BIM Audit without aligning it to the Client’s EIR & AIR 🚫
❌ Save files as “Final-FINAL-v3-Tuesday-maybe” and expect clarity 😵
❌ Say “BIM is just 3D” and call it a day 🗣️
